Sir, how do you feel attaining the age of 20 years?
I’m simply grateful to God. I’ve always seen life as an undeserved salary paid to us by God. Life is a privilege, not a right. Like, The song of Nathaniel Bassey, all i can say is thank you Lord. I’m just grateful to God for all His goodness and mercy till date cause there is no one like him.
What was growing up like for you?
Growing up for me was more like an institution, They all had their exams for me to write and by Gods Grace, i passed them to be where i am. My story at 20 will not be complete if i don't mention my Father, he was more than a helper and Mummy Chukwurah also help in growing me spiritually, under her you must be up and doing. In fact, Under both of them (My Father and Spiritual Mother) i was not permitted to misbehave.
In taking to Ministry, We Understand that Dominion Christian Ministries is an Online Ministry, Sir, are You Planning of Going Into Full Time Ministry?
Well, You see the question does not surprise me. I get it all The Time (Smile). Let me say its an error to ask someone if he or she is going into full time ministry. We are all meant to be in full time ministry. Fully Fulfilling our Ministry. In any Job, Full time Ministry is Needed. For me, Dominion Christian Ministry is owned by God and not me. Yes, I'm definitely in Full time ministry.
In taking to the ministry, who were the personalities that made positive impacts in your life?
Firstly, the Holy Spirit who delivered The Mandate to me on October 21st, 2005. Secondly, most of the personalities involved, I encountered by proxy and through books. For instance, my spiritual life was boosted largely through teachings of Reinhard Bonnke, Kenneth E. Hagin, E. W. Kenyon,T. L. Osborn, Oswald J. Smith, Oral Robert taught me how to hear from God without which, perhaps, I will not have been in ministry today.Kenneth Copeland and Bishop. David Oyedepo taught me how to access divine supplies both for my life and the work of the ministry among others.
Sir, Can you recount your born-again encounter?
I was Six Years Old, and i remember my Father will gather us together and we will read the bible. One day he said to me, Son, You need to know God the More, Having said that he lead me to Christ and i felt these newness. Interested only in serving God. In fact, My Ambition was to be a Catholic Priest.
Sir, At what point where you so definite that you had a calling?
The vision lasted 3 hours on the altar of Prayer and Fasting that between October 19th-21st, 2005. I was not Fasting to be Called, Neither was i Praying to be Called. I was only Interested in knowing God Plan for My Life. On The Third Day of the Fast, The Lord Spoke to and I arose from it fully persuaded of God’s call upon my life into ministry. There was nothing to consider; there was nothing to prove; the mandate was very clear.
What would you say is responsible for your outstanding performance in the Lord’s vineyard?
Grace, faith, discipline, diligence, sacrifice, Prayer and Fasting, Mentors and Praise. Finally, it is my decision to be a Player like my Parents not a Spectator that has also brought me these far.
You have always said you are a product of the Word and Spirit. Can you tell us which book(s) made the most impact in your life?
The book that opened my life and destiny was written by Evang. Reinhard Bonnke, It was is Biography;Some Of Kenneth Hagin Books,Kenneth Copeland’s books; most of Oswald J. Smith books; some of Benny Hinn books; most of E. W Kenyon’s books; most of Smith Wigglesworth’s Books; most of David Oyedepo books; some of Oral Robert’s books; some of D.L Moody books; and quite a number of leadership books.
Can you share with us the birthing of Dominion Christian Ministry?
God spoke to me as far back as November 17, 2013, on that day, i was in a cafe and i saw a guy who was browsing through nude picture and i got angry. There inside that cafe, The Lord Spoke to me " The Hour has come to liberate Mankind from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of Light; now start it there". Immediately i opened a Facebook page with the Topic You are Blessed. We started with the name Livingstone Ministries, and then during wofbi it was changed to Gabriel Onyema Ministries International (GOMI) before God gave us Dominion Christian Ministry Last year. Then we started having Meetings on God Command. I remember the Program we held in Lagos Last Year November 7, 2015, i mean The First International Singles and Mingles Summit (I-SAM), It was awesome cause we had little planning into it and yet it was a success.
Sir, how do you cope with family obligations, in spite of your obviously tight schedule?
Nothing eases life like planning. Someone has said, “Failing to plan is planning to fail!” I have a schedule that accommodates all that’s essential to both my family, education and ministry. Let me also emphatically state that my family has indeed been a great help.They have been supportive and i give thanks to God for them.
How do you feel seeing your exploits around the world?
I celebrate both the grace of God. To Him alone be Praised.
How do you relax, given your very tight schedule?
I listen to Gospel Music and read books.
What is your understanding of prosperity in the life of a Christian?
I believe it is the will of God for all His children to prosper, just like every parent wishes all their children well; God also wishes above all things that we prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers – 3John 2. His Prosperity plan is only accessible through Covenant Practice like Tithes and Offerings, giving to parents and the poor among others.
At 20, if you meet with God one-on-one and He asks you to make a demand, what would be your request?
To please Him in all my ways and for the rest of my life.
