Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State on Thursday portrayed the foundation of the Employment Trust Fund (ETF) as a defining moment in the state.

Ambode talked at the Lagos House, Alausa while initiating the leading group of the ETF and the state Civil Service Commission.

He said it was a defining moment in the responsiveness of government to the desires of the adolescents and other unemployed individuals in the state.


The Governor stressed that the organization of the asset would be guided by worldwide best practices, however cautioned that it is accessible to just individuals who were from the state and occupants.

Ambode said that recipients would be chosen in light of the quality of their applications.
